Joaquin Salim is a Venezuelan director based in NYC, with over a decade of experience creating, writing, and shaping visual stories for brands, artists, and musicians. His award-winning career has led him to create work for The New York Times, Vans, LVMH, Don Julio, Johnnie Walker, Nestlé, Coca-Cola, and many others. He has also collaborated with Mike Mills, Darren Aronofsky, Stillz, Neil Young, Salma Hayek, Little Simz, and more. His contemporary art practice, rooted in mixed media, typography, collage, and found materials, brings a tactile, graphic, and experimental language to his filmmaking.
